Every time I open WoW from my desktop icon, and then exit game, I can no longer open the program without a restart ( Read more... )

... So when someone messes with the computer, and promptly makes it so half of those interwebs doesn't work, I'm at a loss as to how to fix it.
Basically, long story short: someone got irritated and messed with our family's computer, and now literally everything that uses flash, and/or Java, doesn't work.

( No 3D, no armor... )

sometimes, not all the time, i can't get wow to actually get to the loading screen, delete the wtf files and can get in. tried google fu, tried the forums for info. repaired, reinstalled...i'm at a lost here.
running win 7.
can't think of anything major that has changed. updated all drivers etc.
anyone have any suggestions?

Off topic: Does anyone else have issue with the community layout? The comment links are half-covered and there is no "go back 20 entries" link at the bottom of the page. I only mention this because I tried to search for posts to see if anyone else had a similar issue prior to making a post and found that navigating the community was difficult.

Is anyone having problems getting in game?  It will let me sign in, it will even give me the realm and toon page, but when I choose a toon and go to enter,  I get the loading screen, but the status bar, it only goes about a quarter of the way and everything freezes and I get the 'not responding' message ( Read more... )

Okay. It was 3-4 weeks or so ago I reset my computer back factory settings. Before setting it back I was able to play wow with out serious lag. It wasn't the best but I could move around with out it looking all funky because of going super slow or whatever.  However, once I reset it and re downloaded my stuff, I had lag galore. So I have tried logging in to Mumble a few times to keep in touch with some friends while I do other things and every time, it kills my system sound until I exit the program. This is problematic, because I'm often playing games that kind of require sound as part of the gameplay ( Read more... )
